Find Jewelry Organizers that match your style and Jewelry Storage needs!
I found the cutest new Jewelry Organizer, the Swing Away Jewelry Armoire, and I just had to share! I love the design of this jewelry organizer. It reminds me of many smaller versions of this that I have seen, usually wooden jewelry boxes or acrylic models, where it’s a tall cylinder, and each level swings out to the side to open, revealing jewelry storage and dividers inside. This is basically the same concept as those, just a lot bigger, which means it can hold a lot more (big is good, right?)
My thoughts on jewelry armoires are this: If you have a lot of jewelry, a jewelry armoire is an investment. It may seem like an expensive purchase, like buying a new couch or something, but it’s not like you will ever need to buy another one. And, even if you are just getting started on a jewelry collection early in life, you are sure to fill a jewelry armoire in the years to come. Another thing I like about them is that they are almost like a piece of furniture in themselves, a great accent piece, if you will. Place a jewelry armoire in your bedroom, next to a walk in closet, or near the vanity (if you are lucky enough to have one).
This jewelry organizer has a very cool design – the white painted wood and the round body almost have a retro feel to them, but work just as well in modern styled homes, as well as country chic. This armoire has a storage space for everything, and a mirror on the upper portion for applying makeup and trying out your favorite gems. The felt lined interior is a great, affordable way to keep jewelry safe and clean, free of tarnish, scratches and the dividers keep your longer pieces tangle free!

A Review of the Most Space Efficient Jewelry Organizers
Whether you live in a large home or a small one, there is always a good reason to be concerned about space efficiency when it comes to jewelry organizers. Why let your whole house be overrun by jewelry and jewelry boxes if you don’t need to? In the true spirit of the first week of spring (Friday), I’ve decided to do a review-style entry here, a summary of the best, tried and true ways to organize jewelry for those who crave space efficiency (yours truly included).
- Over the Door and Hanging Organizers – This has to be number one in space efficient organizers for pretty much anything. If you can an organizer that goes over the back of your door (and believe me, you can) for anything, go for it! This is a no brainer way to organize your home without taking up closet space or floor space. And, it doesn’t have to be permanent since you don’t have to drill any holes, great for us renters! OTD organizers are made for so many different things nowadays, including jewelry storage, shoe racks, pants valets and toy storage. If you can’t find an over the door organizer for your jewelry, over the closet rod works just as well. There are very thin pocket organizers with a hanger on top, and these are great for slipping earrings, necklaces and rings into and hanging on the closet rod, and also great for travel.
- Jewelry Trays for Drawers – As I always say, if you have the space in a dresser drawer, this is a great place to keep your jewelry. Lined jewelry trays are easy to use, and keep your jewelry all laid out in front of you, easy to pick the right piece.
- Wall Mounted Jewelry Organizers – this wall mounted jewelry armoire is a great find. It is large enough to hold a sizable jewelry collection and doesn’t take up any dresser or counter top space.

A Linen Storage Trunk with Built In Jewelry Organizers does Double Duty as the Product of the Week

I don’t own this storage trunk, but I simply had to showcase it as this week’s product of the week. What a phenomenal piece this is. It is a storage trunk for linens and clothes, and has two jewelry organizers, perfect for almost an entire collection. Check out this item and more jewelry organizers at Stacks & Stacks.
Here are some of the great features of this chest and some different ideas for using it:
- Cedar – this chest is cedar lined. As we know, cedar has some natural properties that make it great for storing linens and clothes. Cedar is a natural insect repellent, useful for everything including those pesky moths. So, storing wool sweaters and other linens is not a problem in this chest. Cedar also has a wonderful aroma to it, which can be renewed as often as you’d like with sand paper. Cedar is also naturally moisture and weather resistant, great for extreme climates.
- Removable jewelry trays – with two removable jewelry organizer trays, this chest is a cinch to use on a daily basis, or for long term storage. This would be a very nice hope chest for the kids. You can store their treasured childhood clothes in the large chest and jewelry and other collectibles in the lined jewelry drawers.
- Locking drawers – the drawers all feature working locks, nice for semi precious jewelry and other keepsakes. Cherry finish – the beautiful cherry wood veneer gives a very classic, elegant look to any room
- Self rising jewelry tray – this is both fun and functional. When you open the lid, the upper jewelry tray lifts with it, making storage underneath a cinch!
Give it a try and let me know if you like it!

Hi everybody! My name is Molly, from Wine Racks Blog and Spice Racks Blog. Michaela asked me to share some of my favorite jewelry organizers - and I’m happy to oblige.
See this?

This is one of Marie Antoinette’s jewelry boxes. The girl may not have had the best sense for politics, but you cannot deny her sense of style. I know, there’s something to be said for subdued taste - but you know what? Sometimes you’ve just got to go big!
Now, I don’t know about you - but I’m not lucky enough to live in a French chateau. But that doesn’t stop me from mentally decorating my imaginary castle. Here’s a jewelry cabinet that any queen would lose her head over - the Antique Parchment Armoire. This jewelry organizer is hand painted, has a flip top with a mirror, and enough storage space for the crown jewels.
But of course, if you’re really lacking room but still want a bit of luxury - there’s a jewelry organizer for you. How about this Floral Jewelry Storage Case? This tres charmant case is hand painted and features designs of flowers and birds. What I love about this case is that it has a lift-up tray - so you can stash secret treasures (love letters?) away from prying eyes.
I found these jewelry organizers at StacksAndStacks. Have you found any great organizers lately? Let us know!

Have a Large Jewelry Collection? Some people have a lot of jewelry, and, therefore, a lot of jewelry organizers around the house. If you are lucky enough to have a very large assortment of jewelry, you may feel that you are overrun by organizers and you can’t ever seem to even find the piece that you need.
Here are some ideas about what types of large capacity racks are out there, the pros and cons of each, and some fresh ideas for you to consider.
-
Jewelry Armoires have been around forever. They are usually very elegant and almost act as their own piece of furniture. The styles vary greatly and have come along way since their invention. Traditional oak and elegant cherry armoires are available, but many manufacturers are making models that match more modern styles, including mission oak and even crisp white. They usually feature a combination of lined drawers with dividers already in place, and sometimes a lift lid with a mirror which is really handy. I really like the models that have hanging necklace storage on the side, which is really the best way to store necklaces. They are a little pricier than some jewelry boxes, but the use of veneers instead of 100 % hard woods has made the prices more reasonable.
-
Jewelry Closets are great for large jewelry collections. They are wall mounted, very space-efficient so you don’t have to worry about using up valuable floor space. They can even be mounted recessed into a wall if you own your home and are allowed to do that much remodeling. They are usually pricier than armoires but offer a little bit more storage and are a very permanent solution (not good if you move a lot).
-
Jewelry Bag: This is by far the cheapest but it still has 80 pockets, so you can pack in a lot of jewelry. They are actually pretty good for necklaces, too, because when you get the chain in the pocket it really doesn’t move around a lot and get tangled. This one can be used for travel, and can hang right on the closet rod or on a screw on the wall or door.
