Everything you want to know about jewelry organizers and jewelry storage!

Product of the Week: Cheval Jewelry Wardrobe

I’ve seen a jewelry box, a jewelry organizer, even armoires, but this is the first Jewelry Wardrobe I’ve ever come across, and that makes me very excited!  Just think - more space for rings, earrings, necklaces and every other type of jewelry that I hold near and dear to my heart!  The Cheval Jewelry Wardrobe is the ultimate in elegant jewelry storage, allowing you to organize your entire collection of gems all in one large jewelry organizer!  This full size jewelry storage cabinet features a dressing mirror on the front.  This makes it great for use in the bedroom because it serves two purposes, allowing you to use the mirror for getting dressed in the morning or for an evening out, with all of you jewelry conveniently located right behind that mirror!  The outside of this jewelry organizer is made of wood and available in several rich finishes, including black, so you are sure to find the right one to fit your home style and color scheme.  On the inside, there is a space for everything:  hooks for necklaces, bracelets and watches,  special long hang earrings section and ring holders!  The lining on the interior means that your precious metals and gems will be safe for years to come -free of tarnish, scratches and tangles!

All In One Primping Center Jewelry Organizer

This Jewelry Organizer is an all in one primping center, perfect for last minute getting ready in the morning or night!

The Wall Mount Accessory and Jewelry Organizer is an open style jewelry armoire that offers maximum jewelry storage at a great price, and so much more!  Underneath the jewelry rack is a separate bar for hanging scarves, purses, and any other type of hanging accessory you can think of. Now there is no excuse for leaving the house un-accessorized.  One of the things that I like best about this jewelry rack, besides the accessory hanger, which is my favorite, is that it has a separate hook for all of your gems so that they are all laid out in front of you, ready to go.  Seven wire rows are perfect for earrings of all types, from small dangling earrings to large loops and more.  Below that are fifteen pegs for hanging bracelets (or more earrings, if that’s your thing).  And underneath that are nine more pegs for long hanging necklaces.  Hanging necklaces is much better for them than shoving them in a drawer, it reduces tangling, snags and breakage, so that they will be around a lot longer to accessorize you.  A tray with three divided sections is perfect for watches, rings, brooches and more.  And, underneath that is the oh so useful accessory bar, for scarves, belts or headbands.  Made of wood and lined to protect your jewelry for years to come.  Use this jewelry wall rack wherever you are likely to do your primping in the morning, including the bathroom, bedroom, near the closet or even by the front door if you live in a studio!

Swanky Swinging Jewelry Organizer

I found the cutest new Jewelry Organizer, the Swing Away Jewelry Armoire, and I just had to share!  I love the design of this jewelry organizer.  It reminds me of many smaller versions of this that I have seen, usually wooden jewelry boxes or acrylic models, where it’s a tall cylinder, and each level swings out to the side to open, revealing jewelry storage and dividers inside. This is basically the same concept as those, just a lot bigger, which means it can hold a lot more (big is good, right?)

My thoughts on jewelry armoires are this:  If you have a lot of jewelry, a jewelry armoire is an investment.  It may seem like an expensive purchase, like buying a new couch or something, but it’s not like you will ever need to buy another one.  And, even if you are just getting started on a jewelry collection early in life, you are sure to fill a jewelry armoire in the years to come.  Another thing I like about them is that they are almost like a piece of furniture in themselves, a great accent piece, if you will.  Place a jewelry armoire in your bedroom, next to a walk in closet, or near the vanity (if you are lucky enough to have one).

This jewelry organizer has a very cool design – the white painted wood and the round body almost have a retro feel to them, but work just as well in modern styled homes, as well as country chic.  This armoire has a storage space for everything, and a mirror on the upper portion for applying makeup and trying out your favorite gems.  The felt lined interior is a great, affordable way to keep jewelry safe and clean, free of tarnish, scratches and the dividers keep your longer pieces tangle free!

Wall Jewelry Organizer Armoire

walljewelryrackA Review of the Most Space Efficient Jewelry Organizers

Whether you live in a large home or a small one, there is always a good reason to be concerned about space efficiency when it comes to jewelry organizers.  Why let your whole house be overrun by jewelry and jewelry boxes if you don’t need to?  In the true spirit of the first week of spring (Friday), I’ve decided to do a review-style entry here, a summary of the best, tried and true ways to organize jewelry for those who crave space efficiency (yours truly included).

  1. Over the Door and Hanging Organizers – This has to be number one in space efficient organizers for pretty much anything.  If you can an organizer that goes over the back of your door (and believe me, you can) for anything, go for it!  This is a no brainer way to organize your home without taking up closet space or floor space.  And, it doesn’t have to be permanent since you don’t have to drill any holes, great for us renters!  OTD organizers are made for so many different things nowadays, including jewelry storage, shoe racks, pants valets and toy storage.  If you can’t find an over the door organizer for your jewelry, over the closet rod works just as well.  There are very thin pocket organizers with a hanger on top, and these are great for slipping earrings, necklaces and rings into and hanging on the closet rod, and also great for travel.
  2. Jewelry Trays for Drawers – As I always say, if you have the space in a dresser drawer, this is a great place to keep your jewelry.  Lined jewelry trays are easy to use, and keep your jewelry all laid out in front of you, easy to pick the right piece.
  3. Wall Mounted Jewelry Organizers – this wall mounted jewelry armoire is a great find.  It is large enough to hold a sizable jewelry collection and doesn’t take up any dresser or counter top space.
