This Jewelry Organizer is just for your little princess!

The Princess Jewelry Cabinet is a very popular item this year. And why not? Why shouldn’t every little girl get to pretend she’s all grown up just like mom? Plus, it might keep her out of your real grown up jewelry, saving you time and money from lost and damaged gems. Most little girls, at one time or another, go through the imagination play stage. First they start off playing animals, then family, and then, one day, before you know it, your little girl wants to play with makeup and jewelry! What better gift is there for a princess than her very own jewelry organizer? I love this one because it is of a really high quality wood construction, with lots of drawers and secret storage areas. The superior quality also allows it to have a great resale value once she grows out of it, although many will keep it into their “tween” years. This jewelry cabinet is just like a grown up’s jewelry armoire, but sized down and painted just for her. Side cabinets hold necklaces and bracelets and other long hang items, and the middle features divided drawers so she can practice organizing and taking good care of her jewels. A large center section with a magnetic door has a hidden jewelry storage drawer within it, and, of course, the whole thing is painted purple and pink, with a crown on top, making your little one feel like a true princess when she p lays dress up! You will be surprised and thankful when you see how much time your princess can amuse herself with this beautiful armoire. For an alternate DIY project, cover a shoe box, plastic box or other container in princess wrapping paper so that she has a special place to keep her gems.

This Jewelry Organizer is an all in one primping center, perfect for last minute getting ready in the morning or night!
The Wall Mount Accessory and Jewelry Organizer is an open style jewelry armoire that offers maximum jewelry storage at a great price, and so much more! Underneath the jewelry rack is a separate bar for hanging scarves, purses, and any other type of hanging accessory you can think of. Now there is no excuse for leaving the house un-accessorized. One of the things that I like best about this jewelry rack, besides the accessory hanger, which is my favorite, is that it has a separate hook for all of your gems so that they are all laid out in front of you, ready to go. Seven wire rows are perfect for earrings of all types, from small dangling earrings to large loops and more. Below that are fifteen pegs for hanging bracelets (or more earrings, if that’s your thing). And underneath that are nine more pegs for long hanging necklaces. Hanging necklaces is much better for them than shoving them in a drawer, it reduces tangling, snags and breakage, so that they will be around a lot longer to accessorize you. A tray with three divided sections is perfect for watches, rings, brooches and more. And, underneath that is the oh so useful accessory bar, for scarves, belts or headbands. Made of wood and lined to protect your jewelry for years to come. Use this jewelry wall rack wherever you are likely to do your primping in the morning, including the bathroom, bedroom, near the closet or even by the front door if you live in a studio!

A Jewelry Stand gets a facelift with Victorian Style and convenient Jewelry Storage concepts!
You’ve all heard me rave about Jewelry Trees, I’ve blogged about them at least once before. This is a new take (actually not new at all, but definitely a come back piece) on the jewelry tree. Instead of a tree, it is a beautiful Victorian lady. Her name is Cherie, and she is an elegant choice for a jewelry organizer. These jewelry stands have been around forever, a favorite during Victorian times and ever since. She looks like a porcelain doll (actually resin) and has your choice of two different colored dresses, pale blue and tan. Eight metal hooks hold necklaces, bracelets, watches, rings and some hanging earrings - that’s right, pretty much all types of jewelry! The best thing about a jewelry stand is that is that it’s a great alternative to jewelry boxes and drawer jewelry dividers in some cases. One benefit to a jewelry stand is that it keeps necklaces and chains from tangling and breaking. When they are hanging, as opposed to coiled in a little divided box, they simply can’t get tangled with themselves or other pieces. But, the reason that I like jewelry stands the most is that you can keep some of your favorite everyday pieces handy and ready to go at a moment’s notice. If you’re like me, you don’t have time to look through a jewelry box every morning, night, etc. I’m very busy, so the only hope for me to accessorize myself is to have everything laid out, easy to see and easy to access, tangle free and just enough choices to take me through the week. So give this beautiful lady, Cherie the Victorian Lady Jewelry Stand a try! She just might convince you to look your best every day!

An All Purpose Box or Container makes a great jewelry organizer!
A jewelry organizer doesn’t have to be fancy! In fact, most of us find that while we go through life we are accumulating so much jewelry that, by the time we are adults, we probably have more than one jewelry organizer anyway! It’s nice to have a really nice jewelry box for special items. This is the kind of investment piece jewelry organizer that you will spend a good amount of money on probably. Some people like an ornate, hardwood box with carved details. Some like the little armoire type glass jewelry boxes for with lights for displaying jewelry on the dresser top. But, for everyday jewelry, a great place to start is with a simple box on the counter of the bathroom. Keeping a small selection of jewelry in the bathroom where you get ready is a great way to remember to accessorize your outfits properly. I know that if I don’t see the jewelry staring me in the face, (by that I mean reminding me that it’s there), I simply will forget or feel to lazy to put any on. My life is so busy that I’ve found that keeping two or three pairs of earrings, two necklaces and a bracelet or anklet right on the counter, with the box open, is easy enough for me to accomplish a finished look when I leave the house. Every couple of months, I switch up the selection of what is in there to so that I’m not over wearing the same pieces. Any type of box can serve this purpose. These Faux Leather Boxes make a great jewelry organizer. I actually have a folding box that I got at Christmas with an array of Victoria’s Secret perfumes – I simply put a square piece of cotton in there to protect the jewelry. But, I’m thinking of upgrading…

Yay! A Jewelry Tree for purchase, finally!
If you remember I blogged before about the benefits of a jewelry tree, a great idea but something that seems hard to find. I even suggested making one, or using a mug tree instead. Well now I’ve found a jewelry tree for purchase, as beautiful as its name, the Bijou Jewelry Organizer. It’s not very expensive either. A Jewelry Tree is a great choice for hanging necklaces, as it keeps them from getting tangled and broken. These jewelry trees are great for beading enthusiasts, especially if you like to sell your jewelry at crafts fairs and flea markets. At home, they are also a great choice for many reasons. First of all, they are pretty – by far the nicest way to display colorful jewelry. You can really see what you have, making it impossible to “waste” jewelry that you have sitting around in drawers. Second, they are practical. The unique shape of the hooks means that you can hang necklaces, bracelets, and even hanging earrings on the pretty little hooks that are provided. And, a tray at the bottom can hold other pieces, including rings, studs and watches. This is a great way to keep a healthy selection of jewelry on hand, ready to go so that you aren’t ever tempted to lazily skip this important step of primping. I think this would be great on the dresser, on the bathroom vanity (where there is a mirror to aid in dressing), or even on a hall or entryway table. This one is made of stainless steel, a great complement to most jewelry pieces, and very affordable, a great all in one jewelry organizer! Little girls would love this item too, perfect for playing dress up and starting their own little collections of gems. Give her a few of your old pieces to start with to cherish forever.

A Linen Storage Trunk with Built In Jewelry Organizers does Double Duty as the Product of the Week

I don’t own this storage trunk, but I simply had to showcase it as this week’s product of the week. What a phenomenal piece this is. It is a storage trunk for linens and clothes, and has two jewelry organizers, perfect for almost an entire collection. Check out this item and more jewelry organizers at Stacks & Stacks.
Here are some of the great features of this chest and some different ideas for using it:
- Cedar – this chest is cedar lined. As we know, cedar has some natural properties that make it great for storing linens and clothes. Cedar is a natural insect repellent, useful for everything including those pesky moths. So, storing wool sweaters and other linens is not a problem in this chest. Cedar also has a wonderful aroma to it, which can be renewed as often as you’d like with sand paper. Cedar is also naturally moisture and weather resistant, great for extreme climates.
- Removable jewelry trays – with two removable jewelry organizer trays, this chest is a cinch to use on a daily basis, or for long term storage. This would be a very nice hope chest for the kids. You can store their treasured childhood clothes in the large chest and jewelry and other collectibles in the lined jewelry drawers.
- Locking drawers – the drawers all feature working locks, nice for semi precious jewelry and other keepsakes. Cherry finish – the beautiful cherry wood veneer gives a very classic, elegant look to any room
- Self rising jewelry tray – this is both fun and functional. When you open the lid, the upper jewelry tray lifts with it, making storage underneath a cinch!
Give it a try and let me know if you like it!

Keepsake Box with Photo Frames: A Jewelry Organizer as Pretty and Meaningful as the Jewels You Put in it!
I just saw this beautiful Jewelry Organizer and had to share! Most people agree that jewelry is among their most cherished material possessions, and many more would also agree that precious photographs of their children, marriage, and other memorable life moments are even higher on the list! This keepsake box brings the best of both worlds together simultaneously to offer a jewelry, keepsake and photo frame all in one piece!
Six frame areas of differing sizes allow you to create a collage of your best photos, all framed in a beautiful hardwood box with a rich walnut finish. On the inside, you can keep your most treasured jewelry, precious not necessarily because of its price, but because of its meaning to you. Anniversary gifts, necklaces that your husband gave you after you had your kids, and even silly graduation gifts from friends are all great ideas for this box.
It’s nice to stick with the same occasion, so that you have sort of a theme box, with the pictures on the outside matching the mementos that are inside! The inside is hand lined with bone suede material, and features hanging necklace hooks (great for keeping necklaces tangle free) and ring rolls. It is really a nice wooden box with glass frames, perfect for the bedside table, dresser or vanity.
And, I can’t make this point too strongly, this would be a really nice gift for any girl or woman of any age. If you have an occasion coming up, a very special occasion that needs a really out of the ordinary present (mom to grandma, dad to mom, etc), you can surprise your recipient by starting the photo collage (or the jewelry!) for her.

Vanities for Girly Girls and their Jewelry
Girls Gather Round! A vanity in the bedroom can serve so many purposes. First, and foremost, it adds a very elegant feel to your bedroom décor. Second, it gives you a place to sit while getting ready for a big night (or day)!
Bedroom vanities come in many shapes and forms. Most of them lean toward the antique, elegant look. But, you can also find modern versions with updated wood finishes like espresso, and modern art style curves and lines in their construction. Here is a nice modern vanity from Stacks & Stacks Homewares.
A vanity usually consists of a table, a mirror and a bench, sometimes sold together, sometimes sold separately. Most of them have a drawer or two or lift lid storage. This is usually where you put makeup, but it can also function as a jewelry organizer! If you can find one that is designed for jewelry storage, that’s great!
If not, you can turn them into a jewelry organizer with just a few tools. First, you can buy a jewelry drawer insert that divides the drawer and provides a felt backing to protect jewelry. Here is a great selection of these, you can mix and match pieces to get a custom style jewelry organizer. If you are finding that you can’t fit these directly into the small vanity drawers, you can find smaller, modular drawer dividers in different materials that may fit better into the drawers. Look for clear acrylic, wood or fabric boxes and trays.
For necklaces, use either an adhesive or suction hook or two directly on the mirror for an elegant look and also to keep your necklaces tangle free! If you can find a row of these hooks that is even better. A vanity also makes a great gift for teens and girls going off to college.

My #1 Pick for Necklaces: The Max Acrylic Jewelry Organizer - Hanging Necklaces Keeps them Safe and Easy to Find. Necklaces, bracelets and watches do much better hanging than they do sitting in a jewelry box or a drawer.
In a jewelry box, “long” jewelry, such as necklaces and bracelets get tangled very easily. This can make it hard to find what piece you are looking for. It can also damage or even lead to unwanted breakage of delicate chains and beads. So, necklaces especially, but also bracelets, should really be on a hanger to avoid messy knots and tangles, and, eventually, breakage and loss of jewelry. There are many different types of necklace organizers, from drawer trays to dresser top upright boxes.
Here is one of the best ones that I’ve seen, available at Stacks & Stacks.
The Max Acrylic Jewelry Hanger: This is a really great necklace organizer because it mounts to the wall, so you don’t have to worry about taking up valuable space on your dresser. It is definitely space-efficient, which I love! You can keep it in the closet, behind the door, or on the bathroom wall. It is very secure – your necklaces and bracelets won’t slip off as long as you keep them between the two wall hooks.
I also really like the fact that this jewelry organizer is made of acrylic plastic. Acrylic is a favorite material for making jewelry boxes and organizers because it is crystal clear and also it doesn’t scratch easily because it is very rigid (but also more breakable than soft plastics). It does a great job of showing off your jewelry and it is inconspicuous enough that it doesn’t detract from your beautiful gems. This is especially true when hanging on the wall. If you have just spent days repainting your home in new, vibrant colors, this acrylic necklace hanger will still let you see your hard work shine through. It mounts easily with just 4 screws.
Now Get Organizing!
