Earring Holder - Folding Screen Holds 128 Pairs of Earrings
I have a confession to make: I am obsessed with earrings. Chunky bead clusters, vibrant gem strings, sparkly studs and sleek hoops make my heart beat faster than a two-shot macchiato. If you too lose all willpower at the sight of a new shiny pair, you probably have a vast collection that at times leaves you overwhelmed with joy and confusion.
Make sense of your treasured belongings with a jewelry organizer designed specifically for earrings. As you may already know, those little things easily get tangled or lost in the midst of peers; meanwhile sorting through them in a regular jewelry box can be a daunting task.
If you don’t have any jewelry storage at all, the situation takes an even scarier turn: did you put that lovely silver and amethyst pair that you got last Christmas in your purse, on a nightstand, or in the bathroom cabinet? Oh, here’s one, but where’s the other? Hope you don’t end up spending hours turning over the cushions, crawling under the bed and carefully inspecting your cat’s litter box. Oh, and don’t forget garbage disposal. It must be here somewhere.
Don’t beat yourself up: what you may not be aware of is that small jewelry participates in the worldwide conspiracy to make women of all races, ages and creeds question their judgment and mental stability.
Keep the runaway wannabes in check with the Folding Earring Screen, a latest find in my quest for sanity. This compact and efficient jewelry display holds up to 128 pairs of earlobe bedazzlers, which should be more than enough for any normal person. I, on the other hand, need two of those; however, the price is so refreshing that I’m stocking up for all my future indulgences. Come to think of it, I may pick up a few more at Stacks and Stacks to give away as stocking stuffers this holiday season.

Modular storage ideas are everywhere, designed for every part of the home or office. What “modular” means is that you can customize your storage to your organizing needs, using a variety of items that are designed to fit together, while still allowing you to customize. And I’ve just come across this 18 compartment stacking velvet jewelry tray that is part of a modular jewelry system.

Velvet Jewelry Tray - Stacking - 18 Compartment
I can’t think of a better way for jewelry fanatics like us to keep our precious gems and metals neat, tidy and safe. One of the great things about these jewelry trays is that they are designed to be used in drawers. If you can designate an entire drawer of your dresser or bathroom vanity to jewelry, then these organizers are definitely the way to go. They are easily stackable, so you can really maximize jewelry storage, even in very deep drawers, especially in the bathroom. They come in just two lengths, and each one is designed to hold different types of jewelry. For example, a ring tray, a necklace tray, an earring tray - put these all together and you can safely store hundreds of pieces of jewelry or more. Another thing I like about these is the velvet like lining. We know that this is a great way to keep metals from tarnishing, extending the life of your jewelry in between cleanings. Even if you only have a shallow drawer to use for jewelry storage, there is a solution. Simply choose one of the jewelry organizing trays that has varying sizes of compartments. That way you can put necklaces, rings, watches and earrings, for example, in one single tray. Don’t have a drawer to use? These jewelry organizers are elegant enough to be used on the dresser top or counter as well. Get yours at Stacks and Stacks!

Necklace Holder - 12 Arm - Clear Acrylic
All too often a girl can find herself spending way too much time untangling a mess of bead strands, chains and pendants, running a risk of getting frustrated to the point of breaking a piece or two in a righteous fury.
I’ve been there.
Then I would sob over the precious remains, and no amount of chocolate would ease my pain. You know what I mean. Maybe it would be more beneficial to go to the garage and do a couple of rounds with my boyfriend’s punching bag, but I’m a girly girl and I cherish my knuckles.
As for the necklaces, there has to be an easier way to keep them from driving one psychotic. Jewelry boxes never work for this purpose, the most they do is keep the rings and loose charms together and out of sight. Left to their own devices in a dark confinement of a jewelry box, chains and strings seem to emulate the Garter snakes’ mating ritual, only to no worthy outcome, like a pearl or a diamond offspring. Oh, wouldn’t that be sweet.
Alas, till the scientists find a way to integrate reptilian DNA into gold’s and gems’ molecular structure, it is best to keep individual pieces apart. The easiest way to do that is to hang them up on a jewelry tree. The one that really caught my eye for its simplicity and convenience is the 12 Arm Clear Acrylic Necklace Holder. It displays your treasured sparklers in a clean and efficient manner, while easily fitting in with any décor style. Great for bedroom dressers and bathroom countertops alike, it allows you to swiftly find the one right accessory when you need it most.
That said, it does nothing for your decision making powers, there you’re completely on your own. A quick tip: when you see your mate’s forehead vein throb, it’s time to grab something. Anything. Get yours at Stacks and Stacks!

This week’s featured product is great for clutter busting, as it mounts to the wall, allowing you to save space around the home.
The Wire Jewelry and Accessories Rack is great for all you lovers of accessories, particularly the hanging type! This jewelry organizer mounts right to the wall, allowing you to free up space on the bathroom counter, dresser top, or anywhere else you would normally place a jewelry box. Although it doesn’t have special places for earrings, this jewelry wall rack is great for hanging pieces, such as necklaces, bracelets, watches, and even clothing accessories like belts, scarves and purses. The notch necklace bar keeps each necklace from touching the next one, reducing the risk of tearing, tangling and breakage to your favorite necklaces and bracelets. One great idea I had for this wall rack is to use it as a sort of valet for the next day’s outfit. For example, if you mount it to the wall in the closet, you can then put whatever accessories you need for the next day (or the whole week) on this rack so that you don’t have to decide in the morning, shaving valuable time off of your morning primping routine. You can hang a necklace, bracelet or watch, plus any scarves or belts that you will be wearing with your next outfit. On the upper shelf, place perfumes, lip gloss, any makeup, notes, lists and reminders for that day. If you find that you skip out on accessorizing your outfit out of lack of time, it may be beneficial to mount this rack to a wall that is easily accessible on your way out the door, instead of in the closet, for easier access! Whatever you use it for, this jewelry organizer gets two thumbs up from me for its space-efficient and functional qualities.
This new line of Jewelry Organizers has a European flair, a fun and effective way to store your jewelry!
The Tuscany Jewelry Organizer looks like a little leather purse, but packs a punch in terms of jewelry storage. Made of genuine leather with a beautiful brown finish, this jewelry box has beautiful style. Natural crackling patterns are visible on each part of the exterior of the box, with the patterns differing in sizes and shapes throughout. The interior is fully lined to protect your gorgeous gems, keeping tarnish at bay and scratching virtually impossible. Storage options include a ring tray that can hold your favorite finger decorations or earring studs, holding each one upright for beautiful viewing. The tray lifts out to reveal a compartment for necklaces, pendants, and any other loose jewelry you have. On the right side, there is an additional open compartment for jewels, and this organizer comes complete with a bonus travel jewelry box, great for taking on long weekends away or full length summer vacations. The interior of the lid contains a flap with an oval mirror, great for clasping necklaces, putting on earrings or applying makeup with ease. The flap folds down to reveal a hidden storage area with hooks for hanging pieces. This beautiful jewelry organizer is a welcome addition to any woman’s collection, and makes a great gift for holidays, birthdays and Mother’s Day!
Happy Mother’s Day to all you moms out there!

Did you score any jewelry for Valentine’s Day? I didn’t, but there’s something about this day of celebrating love that makes you want to bring out your best, or at least look at what you’ve collected over the years! We all have different preferred styles. Some of us love modern, some of us love traditional, and these preferences carry throughout every aspect of our lives, including fashion, home décor, jewelry and more! Here are some great choices of jewelry boxes that represent different styles – something for everyone!
Modern and Contemporary – If you are a gal who loves modern home décor (think black, white, chrome and bold “accent walls”), then there is certainly a jewelry organizer that will suit you. Look for modern materials including faux leather, and soft, subdued appearances that include lots of right angles (squares and rectangles) as opposed to ornately carved woods, for example. The Delaney Jewelry Box is a great choice. It packs a punch in terms of capacity, with a tray for every type of jewelry, and when closed, it looks like an attaché, the perfect complement to your European style furnishings.
Traditional and Classic – If you are more into the antique style, then you can stick with woods, which can stand out easily on your dresser or counter top. Choose from a variety of finishes and wooden carvings, and extras that include mirrors, music boxes, velvet interiors, and more. One of my favorite ways to get this traditional look are with the jewelry boxes that look like tiny pieces of furniture. For example, a little dresser style box, complete with metal drawer pulls, or the adorable armoire style jewelry boxes that look like a little closet, such as the Layla Jewelry Box. Whatever your preferred style is, don’t settle - keep looking until you find the right box to match your home décor!

The Product of the Week this week fits right into your purse, jewelry organizer or suitcase, and comes in multiple forms!
Happy New Year! Ahead of us we have a whole year of fun. Fun traveling, fun with jewelry and much more. Many of us like to polish our jewelry. What can I say? It’s just fun to watch it get a little brighter, shinier and more beautiful every time! And it’s certainly more gratifying than most other types of cleaning. For travel, there are many options for jewelry cleaners on the go. Obviously you don’t want to bring a big jar of paste or (worse) liquid and have it spill all over your suitcase or car, so what can you do to make sure that your jewelry looks its best anywhere you go? Here are some tips and great products for achieving this:
1. Polishing Cloths – this is a great one to keep in your purse or in the glove box. Next time you are in a waiting room, or picking up the kids from school, you can whip out this cloth and shine your rings, for a start. It’s hard to believe how well these actually work until you give it a try – it is truly phenomenal when you see the tarnish on the cloth after using it on what you thought were your clean rings. Note: since these cloths are coated with a cleaner, you will want to put them in a ziplock bag before sticking them in your purse.
2. Gel and Brush Jewelry Cleaner – This one is great for travel, not so much for the purse, though, as it requires rinsing. You can polish many jewelry pieces with the handy cleaner and brush set, and then rinse to perfection. The cap screws on tight, but I would recommend putting this in a ziplock bag just in case.

Find Jewelry Organizers that match your style and Jewelry Storage needs!
I found the cutest new Jewelry Organizer, the Swing Away Jewelry Armoire, and I just had to share! I love the design of this jewelry organizer. It reminds me of many smaller versions of this that I have seen, usually wooden jewelry boxes or acrylic models, where it’s a tall cylinder, and each level swings out to the side to open, revealing jewelry storage and dividers inside. This is basically the same concept as those, just a lot bigger, which means it can hold a lot more (big is good, right?)
My thoughts on jewelry armoires are this: If you have a lot of jewelry, a jewelry armoire is an investment. It may seem like an expensive purchase, like buying a new couch or something, but it’s not like you will ever need to buy another one. And, even if you are just getting started on a jewelry collection early in life, you are sure to fill a jewelry armoire in the years to come. Another thing I like about them is that they are almost like a piece of furniture in themselves, a great accent piece, if you will. Place a jewelry armoire in your bedroom, next to a walk in closet, or near the vanity (if you are lucky enough to have one).
This jewelry organizer has a very cool design – the white painted wood and the round body almost have a retro feel to them, but work just as well in modern styled homes, as well as country chic. This armoire has a storage space for everything, and a mirror on the upper portion for applying makeup and trying out your favorite gems. The felt lined interior is a great, affordable way to keep jewelry safe and clean, free of tarnish, scratches and the dividers keep your longer pieces tangle free!

Different Jewelry Boxes for Different Types – and trust me, there’s something for everyone!
When choosing a jewelry box or jewelry organizer, the wealth of choices can be welcomed, but also a tad overwhelming! How to choose depends on what you need, where you are going to put it, what your style is, how much jewelry you have, and on and on. Check out my tips and reviews of different types of jewelry organizers below to find out which one will work best for you (or your significant other, if you are gift shopping). Wooden Jewelry Boxes – These are the more traditional form of jewelry organizing, been around for centuries and centuries, keeping jewelry safe, neat and tidy. Choose a hardwood box for long term jewelry storage. A wooden jewelry box can come in any shape or form, from traditional square and rectangular models to round and half moons. A box that incorporates glass doors or see through tops gives the most visual appeal. A box with a mirror is nice, both storing your gems and helping you put them on! And, for girls from 5 to 85, a musical jewelry box simply can’t be beat. Choose a theme song that represents your life, or simply puts a smile on your face! Fabric and Leather Jewelry Boxes – These are a great alternative to wood, perfect for the bathroom counter or dresser top for your most frequently used jewelry! And the possibilities are endless with these, including pinks, blacks, greens and more. Choose from large chocolate brown leather boxes and small open boxes. Travel Jewelry Organizers – on the go, keep your most precious gems safe from loss and tangles with a great travel jewelry organizers. These are available in every size and material, from small leather wallet size jewelry cases to full size organizers for most of your collection!

A Mug Tree to Display Jewelry as yet another unique DIY Jewelry Organizer
I just came across a great idea for a jewelry organizer – something new, fresh and easy to get! Remember my blog about a jewelry tree – this seemed like a great idea at the time – you can display your jewelry and organize it at the same time on a little tree. Very pretty and very useful for countertop jewelry. Well, another great idea for this is to use a mug tree. A mug tree is usually made of wood or plastic and allows you to hang mugs, china and cups by the little arms or “branches”. Another great use for these is as a jewelry tree. Simply take a mug tree and hang your necklaces, bracelets and watches from it for both decorative and functional jewelry storage. This is probably not the place to put your most expensive, precious gems, but for everyday pieces it is a great idea. I like the idea of having one branch for each type of jewelry. For example, a ring organizer branch (this is easy since rings have a hole in the middle so you can just slide them on the arm), a necklace branch and a bracelet branch. If you wanted to do earrings, too, you could have a little DIY project by covering one of the branches in some kind of thick material like felt, that way you can stick pierced earrings, including studs and hanging earrings right on the rack! Either way this is a fun way to make your jewelry stand out. I like the idea of keeping this organizer out on the counter in the bathroom, or on top of the dresser. Choose a wooden or metal mug tree, just make sure the branches are far enough apart so that you know you are going to be able to hang necklaces and bracelets safely.
